MetroActive Fitness, Inc. was founded with the purpose of providing urban professionals with high quality, well regulated, health and wellness services. In the effort to meet our occupational demands, many of us make great personal sacrifices in terms of physical, mental and emotional well being. It's my belief that a life balanced with proper exercise, nutrition, and stress management is every bit as essential a component of one's retirement "Portfolio" as a 401k, IRA, etc.
As many of you may have discovered, finding the right provider(s) can be a very difficult and disheartening task. The certification process for many of these services is poorly regulated at best. Additionally, too many practitioners lose sight of the needs of the individual and adopt a "cookie cutter" approach to service provision.
